Ribbex has acquired another new 26t dustcart with the vehicle arriving just before Christmas. This investment is a welcome addition to our fleet not just because of the heavy growth experienced by the Company over the last 18 months but also because it has been built to perform with a PM Wasteweigh system on board. This system will track the weight of the lorry to within 1% of the gross vehicle weight at any time, allowing for remarkable accuracy when it comes to assessing customer’s recycling obligations and average bin weights. With the cost of general waste disposal higher than ever many customers are looking for feedback as to how to manage their different waste streams effectively, the ability to monitor the weight of a customer’s container helps us to do exactly that.
